Crescendo

Crescendo

A Poem by Tim M

In crescendos of light and fury
They spoke to each other in a dead language
Passing back and forth the tomes of knowledge
They'd forgotten they possessed
Reeling away from the decay of the world
And flourishing within each other
Their eyes would reach out
Yearning
For another small morsel of insight
Shared between young lovers

Brilliant, my friend. An amazing take on "love for all the right reasons". I think everyone wishes they could have this kind of friendship/relationship : finding some kind of safety in it from the rest of the world.
