Control

Control

A Poem by Danielle

Never could stand to be told what to do
Yet I continue to do it for you
Some days I don't mind
But other days I just want my alone time
I continue to play a guessing game
Tryin to find if it is you or me to blame
Is that insane?
You dominate
And that I so fiercely hate
I silence my voice
As to not debate
You sometimes are a prick
Yet I always stick
It sometimes feels as if you control
And it saddens me, that has become my role
