Sleep

Sleep

A Poem by Danielle

Sleep eludes thy self

A partner snores endlessly

I want to show no mercy

To this person sleeping so soundly

I am on the edge desiring

Just a peaceful sleep

Like him in so deep

These eyes want to rest

He is such a perfect pest

The hours flow by

I begin to scream and cry

Losing all the control

Snip Snippetty Snipping

This is me flip flippetty flipping

He is still snoring snoring snoring

How alluring it'd be to suck his breath away

Silence beside me lay

I could sleep before the break of day

Sleep my friend until this wicked end

'thy' means you, change that, otherwise it looks as though you're changing tense through the poem
Nice way to tell a person that you hate his snoring, I completely agree with Neva. Really nice, entertaining and innocent.

Haha, I love it. I know just how you feel, my hubby sounds like chain saw when he gets a good snore going, drives me crazy.
This is deffinetly a relatable issue and that makes it a great little piece.

Oh my goodness! Such an elegant and poetic way of telling someone that their snoring is driving you insane. I love it!
