Read all About us!

This is a poem about people who judge someone going through a battle everyday. Its not fair we have to fight to be happy! So for people with an illness or disorder who have a daily struggle!

(goes out to people with disorders, depression,bipolar,depression etc..)

 

They can Read all about it, Read all about me, But who I really am.. .They will never see.

They can see all my insecurities, its permanently   written on my face, And all the scars.. I sure as hell can’t erase.

They can keep reading trying to figure it out. Quick to judge, I HAVE NO DOUBT!

But keep on reading this u will never understand, There battlewounds not scars,  there a part of what makes me who I am!

But for so many times I rose above and fought, Fought for whatever it was, that I stood for!

I stand for Myself & acceptance & rights, So judge me if it helps u sleep at night.

I stand for strength, so I can show the world I get back up,  No matter how many problems are poured in my cup.

They can say its written all over my face, and that is true it might be, But there’s a lot u don’t know, Don’t judge someone by what u see!

I might have ran and yet I sometimes still do,  But u would do the same if u were going through it to.

Time can’t  erase things from the past, I may not be able to let go that quick and oh so fast.

But I can tell u that ill stand and ill fight, Cause I know what is real, what is fair and what is right!

U have misread me. .skipped a page or to.  But if u want to be that big of a cow that is upto u !

Read all about us , Judge us by the cover, But we are the nicest people, that u will never discover!

Real all about it, if that’s all u know!

But not forever are we going to be the amusement to ur show!

This is Amazing Sheza, this is so inspiring, and full of pure raw emotion.
I love the title, the whole poem sounds so poetic.
It was so deep and meaningful to.
You have told me about your depression but you explain exactly what you feel much better when written.
This was sad but in a way beautiful.
I loved the way it flowed and the rhymes.
