A prayer to God, by the inner child of a woman

Dear God,
send me a love true
one that will not judge or ridicule
someone pleasant, kind and gentle
to keep me safe, in his heart nestled
one who accepts me for all that I am
and loves me dear like there is no end
someone who trusts my word and appreciates me
and in the morning kisses me ever so gently
someone to hold me and tell me that everything will be alright
especially when the stars don’t come out at night
someone who respects my being and deeds
a love that finds pouts and quarrels of little necessity
someone to recognize my gestures of love and kindness
who does not take me for granted
one who doesn’t leave me broken hearted
who is satisfied with me just being me
and when the sky falls and you are seen
help me dear lord to find my dream
and if my dream is not meant to be
send me an angel
to carry me home to thee...
