Tea, Coffee and a glass of Water

The theme of the poem is based on long distance friendship, the strangers who met each other unexpectedly and develops strong bonding over the time.

Rewind memories from classic diaries,
regular attendance and no proxies.
Escape from lazy routine, Avengers
assembles in the crazy world.

Streaming box full of entertainment,
chunks of mixed-emojis in play.
Melodious parody of mood swingers,
stormy parade of dumb spammers.

Noble helium reacts with fusion,
disturbs the tetravalency of carbon.
Clash of two atoms bonding hydrogen,
odd chemistry forms the love triangle.

A wanderer and an owl,
eligible bachelor in the town.
Watching butterflies in tea garden,
catching fireflies in the hanging garden.

Kicking swag of chocolate boys,
singing anthem of blackberry boys.
Camaraderie play by bro-code,
flirting pretty lotus and lily flower.

A nerd, geek and an artist,
crossing dots and shouts bingo!
Dueling with stone, paper and scissor;
tripling legacy of golden trio.

A blessing or a boon it would be;
if together we catch a memento.
Album with picture of cowgirl,
poster-boy penguin and play-boy ludo.

Homecoming is incomplete, without the
reunion selfie on the bank of river.
Laughter and gossip filled table, along with
the cup of tea, coffee and a glass of water.

Author's Note

This poem is a tribute to my dearest friends Vinu and Nikki, marking third anniversary of our friendship trio. Some lines capture the specific moments we have shared and enjoyed over the years. Our relationship is not only special to us, but also unique. May it continue to grow stronger with each passing year.
