Minimalist CleaningA Poem by Sherri Moshman PaganosPlaying with sounds... an oh-so-typical couple's "discussion" on cleaning (fascinating subject...)Minimalist Cleaning
“When was the last time,” he said, “you cleaned the house?” Your head is always in the clouds.” “I believe in minimalist cleaning chrysso mou,” said she.
“My motto: “Don’t overdo the dusting.” “Ha. Seriously, kali mou,” he said. “When was the last time you took up
one corner of a room to really clean?” “What’s the point dear? It just gets dirty again.” He rolled his eyes, looked up to the sky.
“Just kidding paidi mou. I sweep, mop the floor. “Clean fingerprints from the balcony door Scrub and clean the bathroom sink, what more
Do you search for in this world of ours?” “Just observe, he said, “just see what’s in front of you.” “Oh agapi mou, what you’re telling me is nothing new
But it’s just not true that I live up in the clouds,” she stressed. “I’ve got two feet on earth, and I feel so blessed To clean the house,” she said. “Now let me rest.”
“Cleaning blessed? Ha, love your humor!” he confessed.
