Goodnight from the moon.
A Poem by sherni
Firstly, it took me what felt like hours to find the perfect image of a moon that reflects my thoughts at this moment. This one seemed right. I think it'd be nice to water ourselves to grow into the image of a moon. It is one of the most humble balls of energy I can think of. It remains glowing, not in limelight, not in spotlight, it just remains. It shines a light that couldn't bother an eye or heart. It lives among darkness yet sits content, eternal and unchanging- albeit its phases, it rides as passenger in cycle; allowing things to change around it but existing concrete in stagnation. I think that kind of beauty is worth adapting.
