Hate SchoolA Poem by SherilAmiliaI go to school with a heavy heart, As I had to learn from the very start, Of math and physics, and at times English, Subjects I've tried, but never accomplished. For physics it teaches of speed and light, And math just never gets out of sight In Chemistry I learn of pointless experiments, So now do you see why I wish to be absent? I’m done with having to form equations, I just can’t bare this horrible sensation. I’ll walk away from this life and rest, And skip the next upcoming test. School is for those with a gifted brain, Or those who are willing to endure the pain. For me, I wish I could divert my energy To use in some other possible strategies Like music, for example, is genius to me, For notes and pitch is all that there’s to see My heart can keep a steady rhythm, And avoid the stress-of-studying syndrome. So if you are one that’s just like me, There’s nothing you feel that I cannot see Let’s run away and never come back, For school is something that’s worth to lack. © 2010 SherilAmiliaAuthor's Note
