Spring Hopes Eternal

Spring Hopes Eternal

A Poem by Shelly Araujo
"

Just some feelings I have on hopes that can come from changing seasons.

"

Spring Hopes Eternal

Winter to Winter the year comes and ends
Dark and cold, yet time to begin
A new year of promise
A chance to renew
With hope and a prayer for something we knew.
A dream, a wish, the blessing of you
A heart that is open and love that comes through
The hard times, the sad times, the moments of pain
To guide us through sorrow and strengthen us when
The promise of Spring still welcomes the rain.

Such a sweet, refreshing feel to this poem. The timing and rhyme were just great! Very nicely done.
