Meaning of a Man

Bloody wrists.

Begging for the coldest kiss.

Take me now . Take me now.

Red , red  , nothing but red.

Laying here wishing I was dead.

Oh forgive me lord of sin.

Open up your fiery gates.

Please let me in.

For what is man

If nothing but a disgrace?

Children suffering at the hand of the damned.

Innocent beings shot in the face.

Killing is for fun.

At least until the supply is done.

Daddies raping daughters.

Soon to be mothers being slaughtered.

Oceans and streams as brown as our feces.

Wiping out the whole entire species.

Screaming turns into music.

Arguing is a sport.

We have intelligence but never use it.

Leaving decisions up to the court.

Eight presidents shot.

Getting beaten up for the things that we thought.

Our world is based on sexuality, gender and race.

TV is filled with murders and grief.

Radios filled with blasphemy.

Cities bombed, schools shot up

Churches in flames, houses robbed.

A pretty women is seen and whistled at.

Men fill their lusts with unwanted thrusts.

Oh please lord of fallen angels.

Free me from this place.

I yearn to see your reddened face.

I beg to vanish without a trace.

I am tired of the human race.

Begging for sin.

Screaming for gore.

I want to die and nothing more.

Bloody wrists.

Begging for the coldest kiss.

Take me now . Take me now.

Bleeding out on the floor.

Please lord of fire open the door.

I hate this world and I cannot endure.

I no longer wish to be happy and pure.

My time is almost up.

Intense emotions, painting a vivid picture of one of the grimmest aspect of the reality, our world. Really love how the words flow, smoothly and strikingly. The pace throughout is great. It's about something most of us turn our faces away from, unaffected or temporarily affected. You totally bring the dark side of mankind to light. Very nicely done.

This speaks of how terrifying of a world we live in and the reality is here.. the reality is this. Like a journey to hell and back only to find out hell is where we've always called home.
