Should you Stay?

This poem tells how you're telling your partner they should leave you because you're toxic. But you don't want them to go, you need them to stay.

Am I asking for too much? Please don’t stray from me. 

How can I prevent you from leaving? 

Maybe it’s for the best if you do go. I don’t want to hurt you. 

But please, wait.. I’m sorry. Please stay. I didn’t mean to push you away. 

You shouldn’t stay if it’s not what you want. But I really need you to stay. 

Should you stay? Please don’t keep me at a distance.
