i once was wholeA Poem by sheerpoetrywaY back when when you left town the black skies and grey clouds did make me drown how heavy and soaking the rain did come down how heavy the rain and how ripping the wind to blow away my sole and make me partial again insecurities grew out of the festering flood questioning my being right dow n to the blood how on earth does one recover from a hurricaine of the heart when no rescue mission is permitted to start or tread the desheviled path to my core where a civilized love does live no more where a civilized love does live no more a broken and barren flooded out shell screams for life and this story will tell I ONCE WAS WHOLE and full of life i lived my name called beloved wife until you shockingly retracted my security alone you left me and never again will i be the flourishing bride you gave your family name to let the world know you and i were the same you and i were the same you and i were the same way back when before you left town and the black skies and grey clouds did make me drown © 2009 sheerpoetryReviews
