You cant eat all the flowersA Poem by sheerpoetryi came to you like the discovery of honeysuckle with an innocence of days in the sun and although i still bloom you cant eat all the flowers but you still can taste my sweetness and as you walk by knowing im fully ripe for the picking you are not a child and time will not allow you to hang on the vine and revisit to savor just the drop of natural confection that i am so you fill your life with grainy sugars and jellys way to overpowering for your taste while you long to drown in my honeysuckle stream even though theres no such thing keep m as a childhood dream Remember honeysuckle caught between your finger and thumb Remember that you were the first one Remember that my sweetness was just for you Remember naturally knowing exactly what to do to get a taste stick your tounge out tilt your head back under the sun and wait but remember you cant eat all the flowers! © 2009 sheerpoetryReviews
