STAND

when your too afraid to run in the other direction

you just stand

frozen in time

letting it all fall down around you

wishing it would stop at any given moment so you could find the peace that you truly wish to behold

and

when your brave enough to not back down

and youve come to the decision that

to meet your opposition on their battlefeild would only make you a fool and their equal.

what do you do

you just stand your ground  and make sure nobody crosses your line

you let them tire of their own foolishness because you can see around them.

Its funny how i never seem to know what im standing up for anymore

one thing i noticed..if you don't mind, was the word "behold"
correct me if its supposed to stand for a different meaning in this context,
but it seemed like the wrong word in that line...behold is meant to mean "Behold! The Princess!" ..or when you're introducing...you could try something simple as "hold"

again lemme know if it means something diff, cus i know i do that alot. ;]
