Silent Screams

Silent Screams

A Poem by shayne

The heartache, tearing
But my lips are zipped
And though my soul is screaming
Why couldn't you hear
With the pain this overwhelming
And with my eyes dam with tears
Why couldn't anyone be bothered
To hold me while I trembled?
Help feels too distant
And the strength to search has gone
I've got no one around me
To hear me make a sound
