All Alone

All Alone

A Poem by shayne

All through my darkest nights
And the deepest of my wounds
I've yearned for you to hear my cries
And sooth me with your words

I keep wishing for my sanity
To keep the spinning world sound
Another hand to hold me
And tell the me the demons are gone

Shivering in the warmth of sunlight
Too naked to stand proud
I was curled in my own shame
Felt too wrong to look around

The seizing pain keeps coming
With no time to shake it off
And the agony is on going
With no other soul to share the thought
