day twenty-four.
in school today
he found me.
i've tried to avoid him because i knew what he'd say.
he'd laugh.
he'd shove.
he'd yell.
he'd say it was my fault.
he did.
i stayed in the stall for the rest of the day.
Gina found me there after classes were over.
she hugged me and told me it was okay to cry.
i won't cry.
she held me close to her her gray fleece sweatshirt as i closed my eyes and
stopped caring
right there in that bathroom.
she held me close unitl i finally moved away,
thanked her
and drove home alone.
