Rainbow Psychosis

Rainbow Psychosis

A Poem by Shayna
"

Written when in a field behind the high school. It was never found. Written: May 16, 2008.

"

Tell me, child,
Can you hear anymore?
Or has the sound of those last gasping breaths,
those pit-of-the-stomach sickening retches,
Deafened your pretty ears?
Innocent, said the liar.
Pure, like a dressed up paper angel.
This incident is a great and terrible work of fiction.
Oh, but this is a part of me, child, as are you, you crying w***e of a personality.
Leave this troubled mind to mourn a face in peace.

About
Ever since I was a kid, I loved two things: reading and writing. I read as much as I could and wrote stories that generally weren't good. As I got older, though, I got better and soon learned to write.. more..
