Bars of steel hinder my vision
Between what is and what could be. The air smells used, feels stale Like its been around for too long I bet the air is fresh out there... Out there I see skies painted blue, White silhouettes scattered throughout. I see trees dancing with the wind, Birds singing my favorite songs Songs of freedom... Above me is metal, Below me the same. These steel bars are in between. They help hold me here, Inside this cage... I p a c e, eyes glued on a orange horizon One I long to be a part of. One my inner beast longs to be a part of But my vision is hindered.
