A Poem by Katerina Felinova

Bars of steel hinder my vision
Between what is and what could be.
The air smells used, feels stale
Like its been around for too long
I bet the air is fresh out there...

Out there I see skies painted blue,
White silhouettes scattered throughout.
I see trees dancing with the wind,
Birds singing my favorite songs
Songs of freedom...

Above me is metal,
Below me the same.
These steel bars are in between.
They help hold me here,
Inside this cage...

I p a c e, eyes glued on a orange horizon
One I long to be a part of.
One my inner beast longs to be a part of
But my vision is hindered.

This is quite an alluring poem, and it struck me as slightly dark, especially the part about the "inner beast"...although that sounds a bit obvious. I enjoyed reading it.

this reminds me of my early work, great minds truly think alike, not saying were conformists. King Solomon said theres nothing new under the sun but keep trying and you might start a movement or at least a riot

This is very intense. And a bit chilling.

I absolutely loved the dynamic energy you've presented in this flow of ink. =D It really voices the flux between freedom and what is trapped within. It's flow and form is wonderful and it leaves me with a feeling of somber anticipation... like how loud will the roar be when the bars finally break. =)

Great Ink!
