O' Virtuous Lady

O' Virtuous Lady

A Poem by ShaunMosley

How I long to hear Her sweet bell ringing,
And see Her pointed crown held high once more
Her outstretched arms desperately clinging,
To the disparaged souls upon Her shore.

Keep safe, Her flame, that which burns, eternal
Her fiery emblem of promised peace
Shielding Her orphans with love maternal
Her enduring promise of hope wont cease.

Unmoved, She stands as inspiration,
To ALL those crippled by degradation
Or are forced to flee and find Salvation
O' Virtuous Lady of our Great Nation

Very nice writing, and very appropriate for these precarious times. May we always resist those who try to change America's traditional image.
