Pretty much a breakup poem

You left me

in the beating rain

as if you thought I could handle

this heart wrenching pain

with ease

How foolish you are

to think I am that strong

How foolish I am 

to chase after you helplessly

in the pouring rain

When it rains

It is as if God is 

emptying his pockets of coins

not caring where

they might end up

Just like you

You emptied your pockets of me

and didn't care 

where I would end up
