Dragon-Fly

Dragon-Fly

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

Another song. I'm on a roll!

"
Green, green dragonfly
Tonight where does your lover lie?
Is he under lock and key,
Hidden safe away from me?

Ladies lock your doors at night
Set fire to the grounded kites
Lady Moon hangs in the sky
Dragonfly, darling, please don't cry

Green, brown, open, close
Quick to accuse and dispose
Do you notice his inner cry?
You are the dragon, he is the fly

Lie in bed and cry tonight
Shoot down the airborne fire kite
Lord Sun burns in the sky
Dragon's boy, I'm by your side

Human beings are just the funniest animals. We're so funny that we don't make any goddamn sense. That is just something that is a part of life. Most people are insecure when it comes to connection so they get suspicous and jealous real quick when they feel like their territory is being invaded. Our brains our suposably more sophisticated than animals but yet under all the social and language skills we are still monkeys wanting to kill each other in a jungle over the last banana.

As for the poem itself it is well written. I can tell by reading just this that you probaly read alot of older styled s**t. I'll check out more of your stuff. 100/100

This is really nice. Such a pretty piece even if it wasn't intended as such. :)

Wow, very powerful and straight forward. Some people are just being who they really are. Some people think they can come between two people and feel nothing at all about it, I say stick it to her.
