I like this. Infatuation is what we all cling to to ignore the painful truth that we have never been in love, or been loved, in our whole lives (at least for me.) Then that moment of truth, the moment that you know you've never known love, stares you in the face, and if you can accept it you'll immediately get stronger with a moment of clarity--that's how most guys like me learn how to become loners.
