I don't believe
In faery tale endings
The love of your life
So close
But so far
You keep your mouth shut
And wait for them to realize your feelings
Detailed perfection--That's who they are
But you don't always get what you want
And humans never want what they get
The grass is always greener on the other side
Because you'll always be second best
(At the most)
While your sole reason for existing hurts you
Easy as breathing!
And they don't even know they're doing it
Which makes it all the worse
Keep wearing that mask
Don't take it off
You'll need it to hide your tears
When your love is lost
In the arms of another
The third party you could never be
Or measure up to
