Hiding Places

Hiding Places

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

Written while sitting in a tree, realizing that getting up was easier than getting down

"
I climbed this here tree
So that I wouldn't be found
I'm much too high up
To make my way down
I hid under the sea's surface
So as not to be found
I was so busy hiding,
I forgot not to drown
I tunneled beneath the Earth,
So that no mortal could find me
The Earth, it caved in then
As I was unskillfully hiding
I lived to see so much
And they all manage to find me
So I've decided to run away
And leave them all behind me.

Hiding does not work so I shall leave them all behind me.
