Your Evanescence

Your Evanescence

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

It's two poems on one page...read between the lines, you'll see. (Evanescence is my nickname)

"

You are so fake, this you cannot deny

I read between everyone's lines, you see

You smile in class whilst inside you cry

No secret can be kept from me

You keep some sadness I can't decode

I know you hide an inner pain

Burdened by some imperceptible load

Hence the unspoken words of your disdain

I've seen the difference on and off site

Happiness now, not time, is of the essence

When you choose to land your false flight

Smile--You are my Sun, and I your Evanescence ♥

Being able to see what a person is hiding shows you know them pretty well, even if that someone is you. I say that because we can try to hide from ourselves as well but still know the truth of whats going on with us. Nice job. I like this.
