Queen of Spades

Queen of Spades

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

Written after winning fourteen Solitaire games in a row.

"

Funny how there's four aces

And four pieces to a heart*

I've been heartbroken thrice

That leaves just one more part

Black and gray are my feelings

The red can symbolize blood

My barrier as thin as this card

Devastaed by just one flood

A King with two queens to choose from

I promise, it won't be me

I'm the queen weighed down with sharp spades

To cut flesh to intolerable degrees

I, Queen of Spades, feel all alone

The Queen of Hearts gets love and fame

I think it is quite ironic,

That Solitaire is the name of my favorite game!
