Angels Wish

Angels Wish

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

i wrote this in less than three minutes XD

"

You only want this

Because it's now gone

You'll scorn it again

Before too long

The ground looks as small as it feels

From this here height

But all of a sudden,

You regret your eager flight

Popping the balloons that carried you

As you slowly descend

Dancing away on your fickle feet

You don't seem to comprehend

Be thankful for what you have

Don't waste what a poor man wouldn't

We wish that we could fly

Do angels wish they couldn't?

It was sweet, and I know others might not agree, but I really thought this was a sweet, pretty almost, piece of writing. The last line was the best. Good job.
