Janey

Janey

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

I have no clue where this came from, dredging up my inner darkness I suppose.

"

Sitting lonely on her bed

Snapping off her dollies' heads

Drawing stitches on their wrists

And bloody lips, like they'd been vampire-kissed

Janey's legs thumping restlessly

Thinking thoughts quite aimlessly

Humming along to Jack Off Jill

Thinking, "Where does Mum keep the sleeping pills?"

Sipping afternoon tea, mind says "tastes like blood!"

Wanting, "More, please! It's just so good!"

Wondering, "How does my blood taste?

I must find out, not a moment to waste!"

Knife hidden beneath her bed

Along with defiled dolly heads

While silly Janey and her blood lay on the floor

She didn't have time to yell from the door...

Couldn't shout, "Help! Call 9-1-1!"

Her preternatural craving had already begun

To eat away at her heart and soul

She had soon lost all her control

Dearest Mum and the EMTs came much too late

They couldn't prevent little Janey's fate

When insanity she struck, she was much too young

To understand and overcome...

I thought that this was a good poem. It reminds me of an April Fools joke....that my friend played on me....thanks for sharing. :)
