Fix Me

Fix Me

A Poem by Sharkapillar
"

wrote this earlier today, just a poem about what was on my mind

"

Days can't sneak past now

I always catch them in the act

Days don't go by without

Making sure my heart isn't intact

Why do I keep tearing, breaking

Everyone I know has hurt me in some way

Will anyone please stop this constant aching

Will I be fixed someday?

It's the close of the day, 4:18

Yesterday he told me he'd call me

I was up all night, waiting

He never called, did he?

I have a refuge, something of a band-aid

Its color matches my heart

Black and white, musical when played

Complements my monochrome, black and grey art

I can fix a car, a generator, a bike

I just need tools, it's easy

But they aren't anything like

Trying to mend a heart, trying to fix me...

I can't fix me...

Regarding stanza #3, ignore that part, it's been cleared up.
