Katie and Regina = Katie Todd and Regina Spektor, two of my favorite singers. Katie Todd has a song called claustrophobe and Regina has a song called "Blue Lips" that claims that a human's color is blue.
The erratic rhyme scheme is on purpose, folks.

Erratic rhyme schemes are the best kind! "I laugh at pain, especially yours" what a priceless line! but i don't think reading a song does it as much justice as hearing it. Now i have to imagine what it sounds like.

Loved this. Especially the lines like "I smile at heartache, especially yours." Never heard of those singers, unfortunately, but this was great all the same... liked the way it flowed especially.

I was going to guess that Katie and regina were singers! I love this, I especially love how you honor your favorite singers with your own lyrics. I like it when songs don't perfectly rhyme too, it gives them more of a personality!
