TimeA Poem by SharkapillarReally old one...I don't remember all of it, it was longer than thisTime passes by I'm staring dumbly at the clock I can only hear the "tick" I cannot hear the "tock"
I haven't gone deaf But I hear only every other word My vision, so defined Is now black and white and blurred
The room is spinning around But I'm planted firmly on the ground I can't speak I can't think I haven't tried, but I probably can't blink
Fifteen minutes down Now a hundred minutes more Impatient are my toes As they tap against the floor
The thorny words are cutting deep No longer just a tiny prick The crimson petals match my blood Blood that flows, rich and thick
