You

You

A Poem by shareena

Seeing you was like having the relief of rain on a hot summer day
Being in your arms was like copper skies at sunset
But now there is nothing but darkness
Darkness that relentlessly plagues my solemn thoughts
You were my sun, my moon and my stars
My universe
My soul reason for existence
But to you I was but another crack in the pavement
A spec of dust in a world full of sand
I ment nothing.
