My heart as a house, never a home

My heart as a house, never a home

A Poem by Crystal Autumn
"

How I explain my home life- finally finding a friend.

"
I am bothered by the knocks and the locks on the doors. I am writing, I am fighting my hearts battles once more. But see, I wrote you a love song- I was wrong, all along. For the words that are scripted- an fitted, so i hid it for so long. LET ME GO I'm about to suffocate from the outside in, I can't bother you again- My worst enemy is my heart for it loves so damn easy- "I love you" What a foolish thing to say, without thought or reasoning- The heartbeat of a child, they smiled, oh they smiled, Defiled. And so they so easily walked away, but you.. you stay..

Author's Note

Crystal Autumn
It feels like more of a song than a poem. Point of view, I suppose.
