headlights

headlights

A Poem by shandi
"

just a little diddy while waiting for my love to arrive home

"

smoking on the front porch.....

pen and paper in hand......

Regina Spektor singing to me

from inside.....

just waiting for headlights.....

just waiting for you.

try to staybusy.....

but i just endup so antsy.....

seemslike thefaster iwrite.....

thefaster

ill catch that

glimmer

of your

headlights......

This has such a lyric feel to it... I could see it becoming a song.. The idea... the flow... the rhythm... Excellent write!

lovely write shandi, it is very smooth and flows like a gentle stream, the impatience of a writer waiting for her love, writing at times becomes more a need than a romance for pens,,,wonderful,
