I wish you knew

I wish you knew

A Poem by Shannon McRoberts
"

Just a quick poem I wrote the other day

"
I wish you knew~
the pain you put me through.

I wish you could~
return all the minutes wasted on you.

I wish I could~
remove the emptiness your love left me with.

I wish I could~
just forget everything about you.

Run away~
Return my love~
Make me forget~
How simply powerless~
A broken heart can be.

I wish you knew~
only sadness and solitude.

I wish I could~
fell more then sadness and solitude.

While the poem is quick, it speaks a lot of pain and hardship over much time; something I could use to describe almost everyone in my life. This is well done.
