Rearranging a Soul

Rearranging a Soul

A Poem by Shannon Leigh
"

when death takes over

"
And when death enters your soul,
it will be a presence that will refuse to leave.
As it rearranges the rooms of your mind
you will find that you are slowly evolving into a new person -
one who's dreams and ambitions do not match the old
and one who destroys the past's accomplishments.
By the time the thought hits you
its too late.
And death has taken over.
You're
dead.
