![]() Death to all thoughtsA Poem by Ashwin Shanker![]() Let there be no difference.![]() Good thoughts and bad thoughts Living in darkness under the clouds Good thoughts, bad thoughts filling us in shrouds isn’t thoughts simply thoughts? Isn’t it keeping silence in a clot? Good thoughts and bad thoughts are they even real? Would you rather choose a chain made of gold or steel? To keep you a hundred years abound Holed in with bed, bars and the window sill would you remain imprisoned without making a sound? Good thoughts and bad thoughts aren’t feelings among men and women a lie? A few shots of different hormones on compulsion would have you questioning… Oh god, love? Oh why me why? Human attraction is simply nature’s manipulation Good thoughts and bad thoughts `It is the thoughts that bring the division It is religions that need the eviction A Hindu mind, a Christian mind, a Mohdn mind Enter each and every one of them you can find Each is packaged with its set of thoughts Have been creating lately problems of all sorts In silence, it is freedom Once the clouds of thoughts vanish Because all thoughts ultimately tarnish The heavenly kingdom that is silence © 2016 Ashwin ShankerAuthor's Note
