Unnoticed and (Slightly) UnseenA Poem by Interrupting Dawnwrote this for a contest
The blank white image- You could stare for hours and learn… Maybe nothing Or maybe you’d notice that it isn’t white That in fact it’s a very light shade of peach But then you could notice the crack on the edge- Small yet, appearing to lead a parade of slightly Unnoticeable lines- Lines that were left behind by the Brush that installed the pale paint upon The precious Sheet, defined as an image But then, who’s to say that if someone Left behind a small yet easily noticeable Dot- Defined by its black nature Noticing that your pale eyes are drawn To that dark dot Watching as the black appeared to spread like a virus, Or fire On fuel- watching it as its veins Creep out destroying the once peaceful peach sheet That was unjustly defined as an image © 2008 Interrupting DawnFeatured Review
