Graveroad

Graveroad

A Poem by Shane Patrick C.

Dark alone suffered and drove
Deja vu with sinister's road
Prisoner Lost
Convicted in Loss
Reminded this polluted soul

Return the road, blood blistering eyes
scorching hatred, blacken dry skies
Nightmares the reality
Ravage in victory
the righteous bleeds and dies

Shadows cast blankets of shame
doubt and fear accepts blame
controlling pain
pours and rains
Until noting is left but an empty name
