Familiar Demons

She had her struggles
Her demons
When they finally caught up to her, they consumed her
bringing this girl her own death sentence
Then when help came along, the darkness went away
There was a brief time where smiles naturally formed when she would talk about her life
But all of a sudden, the old demons started making a home in her again
This time, these demons had new company
She slowly felt her heart sinking and the natural formed smiles started to feel forced
This time, she didn't want help
Without realizing it, the demons and her started to become one
