The Ballad Of Cellophane Cola (Stand By Me?)

The Ballad Of Cellophane Cola (Stand By Me?)

A Poem by ShaneBerry
"

this was supposed to be the first part of the F/A/B/A/P/F series, but took way longer to write. tho im not sure if i am entirely happy with it. hope you are!!

"

Oh he doesn’t  know!

What he is meant to do!

Or how far he needs to go!

And if he can really choose!

He says "Will you stand by me?

Let me hold you close my dear,

We will look as far as we can see.

And hear what we want to hear!"

They say that his eyes look like Jesus in the light,

If he asks you very nice, will you tell him if they're right?

He doesn’t want to know how you feel about him babe,

Cause he is over you now, and the way your body swayed.

Now lets see if the BitchBot knows how to take defeat,

Are you listening dear? Because these words he wont repeat.

Now we are turning to page to who he feels for today,

But no one likes his choice, and for it he has to pay.

He ponders every night,

over what is wrong and what is right.

He decides in a way,

A secret it will stay.

He never had a chance,

So much beauty at a glance.

An arrow in the heart,

At the beginning of the start.

Pondering the truths everyday,

Gardening helps keeps the bad thoughts at bay.

He has had so many knives in his back,

That in the scars you could play a game of tic tack.

Maybe if he died for your sins, you would start to comprehend.

He will try to speak it out, like the words that he has penned.

Pictures flood his walls of his friends and where they are,

He'd see them everyday if he only had a car.

Crash After says, to focus on the light,

But he wonders if she has ever had to fight.

Transmission Monster says to go all the way,

'Just say how you feel, and take it one day at a time'

But it’s a matter, of body not mind!

Cellophane, what ever happened to your old ways,

Knock down the doors of pain and insecurity.

And follow me to the beach by the bay,

And sip on your memories of impurity!

Quite complex, however the imagery and palbale emotions leads the reader by the hand easily, well done, good read.
