Sing to my Dreams Today (Redden My eyes)A Poem by ShaneBerrynew poem based off of a recent dream.Sing to my Dreams Today (Redden My eyes) The sun will shine golden like a ring, The moon will shower us in silvery shiny things. And I'll look into you, Yeah. I'll look into you dear. Open our eyes making decisions of the
conscious, Or close them tight, hide the way I feel
and be so cautious. Detailed run of things and feelings that we
find, Looking back on things and pressing rewind. Go back, Go back to the start of all this. Pause the pain, the drama and humiliation. Play the peaceful lovely simulation. The dream knotted up in my head, UN ravel and reveal for me please before I
wind up dead. Experiment with kisses, Like playing with fire on the lips of
reminisces. And
wrap you up in a vibrant red ribbon. Reds such a simple word, how about we call
it crimson? It doesn’t matter, all the same, But for these thought they all say shame, Am I or am I not to blame? Anger and irritation, Like a build up, of, mental contemplation. Nothing will ease these things, These thoughts these dreams, imaginings. No matter what anyone will say, I
sing to my dreams today. Yeah, I sing it out loud, And though I'm tone deaf I'll be proud. But will I feel ashamed? Because following dreams is so Shane, But all I know say that these dreams are
full of shame. It’s not for me! It’s not to be! Let me fall apart inside, My minds heart is chasing, another that
would never be mine. Is this why? Is this my demise? Never looking into, another lover’s eye? My heart just racing at the ones, that will
never be mine? So I will cry, I will cry for my dreams. Another haunting memory of my minds, Relentless struggle, to redden my eyes. © 2011 ShaneBerryAuthor's Note
