Let’s Talk

Your Name causes sweet emotions, no not pain.

Your laugh, causes memories, I know that you where thinking the same.

Your Voice, takes away the tears, and gives me the strength to say…

I am proud,

But as bad as I want you back, as bad as I want to kiss you right now.

Let’s just talk about everything.

About your day,

About all the things piled on your tray.

You got your school and your work,

Your family and car,

Drama from your friends,

How you want to make amends.

Let’s just talk.

Let’s go, sit in a park, and let it all out.

Girl you can cry, you can be pissed and pout!

Call me up at night, I’m free anytime.

Let’s talk till you sleep, my snoring follows right behind.

You always say you know you can talk to me,

So let’s talk.

I want to talk about you, talk about me,

How you think I’m so damn weird, but it’s so funny.

If I can’t be your boy, can I be the man,

The guy you go to when you just can’t stand!

All of the bullshit, all of the hell.

Tell me all the things you think you can’t tell.

If you can’t call, why don’t you text?

You act like contact with me is something you vex.

But every time you talk to me,

You laugh, you smile, you cry, and you fall asleep, peacefully, everynight!

So let’s talk! Let me be there for you,

I don’t ever want to stop, hearing from you.

So let’s talk.

i want her to know that, even if we are not together, i still want to be with her, even if it is just as a friend. cuz i dont love her because she loves me back, i love her because i love her. and if she just honestly doenst want a boy friend right now, i understand. but lets just talk. cuz we are happy when we talk to eachother, every time. give it a shot, you wont be let down

This is a great poem letting that person know that you are there for them and it doesn't matter that life isn't peffect "she" isn't perfect you still care deeply enough to be there when she needs you the most. Instead of being angry over the split you are being comforting and accepting. Trying to understand what it is she needs at that moment. Great write.

This is lovely :) Talking is such an easy thing to do when we love someone and yet it so often gets forgotten and it is important to talk! So connection stays strong! Great work love xx
