One OrchidA Poem by ShaneBerryI need to take better care of allot of things. One Orchid Bare stems reaching over the sides, a sleek and clean, morbid scene. A rotted dark, olive green. One orchid, The scene is horrid. The little care, and rude mistreatment, so cruel and sordid. One left, one to care. Soft and pale, Easily destroyed, difficultly kept. The other plants in the room have wept. As to clean up the petals and leaves, I slowly swept. Saving its life, with nice cold ice. And treating it softly, even if the flower falls, the base shall live and start again. With care and knowledge, this next chance will not be ended in vain. © 2011 ShaneBerryAuthor's Note
