The Obstacle Course

The Obstacle Course

A Story by ShaneBerry
"

Rick Takes his student Blue on a messed up Obstacle Course

"
Blue followed his mentor
Over the wall of steel,
Climb the rope,
Take the blade,
Cut through the steel pillar.
Drop the blade,
Pick up the pistol,
Take out the dummy army.
Drop the gun,
Pick up the shield
Block the bullets,
Roll through the metal rings.
Finish the obstacle course.
Pick up your blade,
SALUTE!

I done a few obstacle courses. Your poem had a feel of excitement and purpose. Always good to salute and be content you made the course with no injury and accomplishing something. A excellent poem.

Like Dutch Jr. said it was a nice simple piece, but has deep meaning. Great job.

Pretty nice, simple piece. Has a deep meaning to it, too. Good writing.

Nice! I really liked this one. The flow was awesome, quick, on the ball, rolled off from one word to the next, perfect rhythm with fitting imagery and action. You could really see the obstacle field and experience going through it in such a quick, alert way that it requires you to be. Well done.

Looks pretty good. you should put it in a chapter by chapter book thing that Writer's Cafe offers, that way your readers won't get confused when randomly reading one of the chapters, but besides that, I like it.
