Different light

Different light

A Poem by Aradie Rain
"

It rhymes.

"

Who am I to see the world so differently?

To understand such complex beauty.

Everything is beautiful, this I see.

Why does no one see this but me?

In the dark streets of night,

I see it all in a unique light.

Where others run in fearful fright,

I use the dark to make my flight.

In the day when Im alone

I see the beauty others can't condone.

Leaves in trees, and dogs with bones,

all the little things that make up a home.

Who am I to see the world so differently?

To understand life through trees.

First their small, then they grow, no one knows what they'll be

They grow and grow and reach the sky, always wanting to be free.

Keep at heart, within sight,

See the world in a new light,

Dont let the world, wither with blight

To you this is my plight.

To this difference let us own

Many problems, Humans must be shown

The world is disapearing, soon to be gone.

Let us find the solutions before we are alone.

Powerful, emotion packed piece. I feel like this sometimes too....the weight of "feeling" and being the one who wants to make changes.....even if it feels like no-one else gives a f*k!
I loved the line "they grow and grow and reach the sky, always wanting to be free"
Great write. and hope to see you back on here with your thoughts soon...:)
