Growth of the Unknown Child

Growth of the Unknown Child

A Poem by Aradie Rain

"Daddy?

Daddy, Will you read me a story?

Daddy, Will you take me to the zoo?

Daddy, Will you take me to school?

Daddy, Will you help me with my ABC's?

Dad, Will you help me with math?

Dad, Will you take me to soccer?

Dad, Will you review my paper?

Kelly, Will you come to my recital?

Kelly, this is my boyfriend.

Kelly, Will you help me?

Kelly?

Kelly, will you save me?

Dad, will you help me?

Daddy, can you see me?

Do you hear me?

Daddy don't you love me?

Daddy please?

Daddy, dont give your love to another girl.

Daddy, please love me.

Daddy, save me?

Daddy, I'm gone.

Why didn't you save me?

Daddy, it's so cold.

Daddy...I cant see you anymore.

i like it. it's a little vague at the end though. the "gone" could be her deleting him from her life. but other than that i really like it. i like the format it's in with all of the questions.
