Roomates

Roomates

A Poem by Aradie Rain

My heart twists and tears

as I think of you with her.

The words I know you've spoken,

quiety in a dark room,

weigh on my mind.

I love you.

Never those words spoken to me.

I'm just some girl you knew.

You couldnt know how I felt.

I never told you,

it kills me knowing your spending your life with her.

When it used to be me.

Late night parties.

Board games and movies.

We were great roomates.

Until she came along...

She makes you laugh,

like I know I did.

She makes you so happy.

Makes you let go of your pain.

Where does that leave me?

How will you remember me?

Just that roomate you had years ago.

While I will remember you so different.
